Dirty Bailarina” is the fourth studio album from Spanish hip-hop superstar Mala Rodríguez, and one of the most critically-acclaimed releases of her career not only in Spain but also across the Americas.

Mala Rodríguez, renowned throughout the world for her unique style, bravado and no-holds-barred lyrics, has established herself as one of the most respected and revered lyricists in Spanish hip-hop. The artist´s catalogue of releases, including her debut “Lujo Ibérico” and the follow up album´s “Alevosia” and later “Malamarismo”, have become rap favorites in Spain and the US, Puerto Rico and all of Latin America.

In this year Latin Grammy was also nominated in the Best Urban Music Album category for “Dirty Bailiarina”. In 2007 with her album “Malamarismo”, Mala Rodríguez  won the coveted MTV Latin America Award for “Best New Artist”, was nominated for a Latin Grammy for “Best Urban Album”, and was also nominated for “Best Spanish Artist” at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Her music has been featured in Spanish, French and Mexican cinema and appeared in soundtracks for internationally-released video games including “EA Sports FIFA 2005”, “Scarface: The World is Yours” and “Need for Speed: Shift”.  Furthermore, she has worked with international artists on one-of-a-kind collaborations including Nelly Furtado, Julieta Venegas, Akon, Calle 13, Bajofondo, Antonio Carmona, Diego Torres and more…. major artists like Alejandro Sanz and Calle 13, amongst others, have invited Mala Rodriguez to share the stage during their tours.

Mala´s new album “Dirty Bailarina” continues her musical legacy by introducing a science fiction concept that follows the main character “Dirty Bailarina” through new tracks with next level production delivered by DJ Griffi and American rap producer Focus. The songs take place in an alternate dimension both in storyline and sound. The album´s kickoff single “No Pidas Perdón” has become one of Spanish rap and alternative music´s most talked about songs in 2010, as evidenced by its recent Latin Grammys for “Best Song”.
